Building restructuring is one of our specialisation.
When talk about restructuring, it is necessary to stress one point: restructuring doesn’t mean carrying out maintenance interventions (ordinary or extraordinary) nor conservation restoration work.
Restructuring means rethinking about everything that exists in all its parts, with the aim of modifying its shape, its surface and often its use.
In the restructuring intervention a useless part may be destroyed or a portion of the property may be fully rebuilt.
Sometimes our interventions aim at returning its original beauty to a building or to an apartment.
This operation sometimes may require the destruction of some parts or areas which are not contemporary to the construction period. These parts are then reconstructed and they rediscover their initial beauty.
In other cases, our restructuring operations aim at restabilising a harmony between the original beauty and the convenience of some modern solutions. Our goals are always the conservation and the respect of the initial project.
At Formento, during our restructuring operations, we try to work in a less intrusive manner. Our objective is the perfect conservation of buildings as they were when they have been built.
Our works speak for themselves. In this section you can find an overview of the main works we have carried out over the last years.
